Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz is a target for Serie A champions AC Milan after their efforts to sign Renato Sanches from Lille were thwarted by Paris Saint Germain, according to reports.

Luiz, 24, has been heavily linked with a move away from Villa Park in recent months as he enters the final year of his current deal in claret and blue. Jose Mourinho and AC Roma have been credited as admirers of the Brazilian international however it links to AC Milan have since emerged in recent days.
